In 1984, Jean Yves Tremblay bought his first mobile sawmill. Being an environmentalist by nature and believing that too much forest is decimated, he envisions the possibility of recycling wood; giving it a second life.

Rapidly, TRÈD’SI INC. became synonym of recuperation, recycling, rehabilitation and valorisation of all types of treated wood.

Since then, TRÈD’SI INC. has recovered a volume of wood representing a mature forest of 750 hectares, roughly a territory of 7,5 km2.

In 2008, TRÈD’SI INC. completed the circle in recycling and valorisation, supplying its remnants to heavy industrial complex in need of biofuel.
